Tamala Jones (born November 12, 1974 in Pasadena, California, USA), is an African-American film and television actress. Tamala began her career as a model, appearing in magazine ads and television commercials. Her first acting role was as a guest appearance on the teen sitcom California Dreams. She had her first major television role playing a student in the short-lived ABC drama Dangerous Minds
. She has appeared on other television series, including The Parent 'Hood, Veronica's Closet, Malcolm & Eddie, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and The Tracy Morgan Show. Her film credits include Booty Call

.

She was voted as one of "The 10 Sexiest Women of the Year" in 2000 and 2001 by "Black Men Magazine".
