Tammy Lauren, born Tammy Lauren Vasquez November 10, 1968 in San Diego, California USA is an actress who has appeared in film and television. Her most famous movie role was as the lead in Wishmaster, portraying Alexandra Amberson, a young woman who accidentally awakens the Djinn, a powerful spirit more commonly known as a genie. Wishmaster is currently the only feature film in which she has appeared in a leading role. Lauren also appeared in Mad City with Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta, among several other feature roles.

Among television fans, Lauren is best known for her role as Ginger Szabo on Homefront, a series set in post-WWII Ohio. She has made many television appearances including recurring roles in Home Improvement and Walker, Texas Ranger. She holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate and is married to Paul Muni.

Trivia

Lauren says she never watches her own performances and prefers the news programs instead.
