Tatiana Zdrok (born July 20, 1972 in Kiev, Ukraine) is a Russian pornographic model and sister of the renowned Playboy Playmate and Penthouse Pet, Victoria Zdrok. She also goes by the name of Lara Buenfil.

Biography

Born under communist rule, her mother was an educational researcher and her father was a photojournalist. Her sister, Victoria Nika, was born one year later.

Tatiana had artistic inclinations, being introduced to ballet, piano and drawing. Later, she demonstrated her athletic abilities by participating in track and field. During her teenage years, she modeled as well. After graduating high school, she applied to a Ukrainian university aiming for a major in archaeology. Her parents, not of the Communist Party, made her ineligible and thus she began her forays into the working world as a secretary of a tourist organization. Around this time, she became interested in body building, something which wasn't totally legal in the then-Communist state.

She later attended Kiev University and graduated with a teaching degree.

When Mikhail Gorbachev came into power, and thus ushered in free enterprise in the then Soviet Union, she was hired as a manager for a private startup company.

After Victoria and her mother's departure from Ukraine to the United States, she lived in Moscow and attempted to get a visa to leave the country. This lasted two years as it was plagued with difficulty, for as she states in her bio: "it was tough for an attractive and single Soviet women to obtain visas to the U.S." Despite these troubles, she obtained a Visa and moved to America, where she learned English.

During her time in America, she has earned a Ph.D. in archaeology and has started her adult nude modeling career, aided by her sister. Also, she has appeared topless with both her mother and sister on the Howard Stern radio show.

While she has appeared in neither Playboy nor Penthouse adult magazines, she has been on the cover of the December 2003 issue of Nugget.

Inconsistent information

According to the on Tatiana, she was born in the year 1966; on her official bio, she claims she was born one year prior to her sister Victoria who was born in 1973. This entry reflects the month and day given by Centerfold Galleries (as that has been corraborated with other sources), but the year matches the official bio on UninhibitedIsland.com.
