Actors - Ted Robbins

Ted Robbins (born in Liverpool) is a British comedian and actor. He is the brother of Kate Robbins, and second cousin of Paul McCartney.

He took a degree in English and Drama from Liverpool University. He later worked at Butlins as a redcoat. He co-starred on Kate and Ted's Show with his sister.

A career in theatre and television has seen him play many parts as well as starring with his sister Kate in shows on ITV, and presenting quiz and gameshows such as Quiz Night, Bratpack, and Chain Letters.

Generally recognised as one of the top TV warm-up studio hosts in the country, Ted has recently been returning to dramatic ways with appearances in Holby City, Merseybeat, Doctors, Brookside, and is universally hated as the man who burned down the Phoenix club - Den Perry - in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.

Ted married an Accrington girl, Judy, and they live in Rossendale, with their two children, Jack and Molly.
