Teresa Parente is an American actress well known to Married...With Children fans as hapless local television reporter "Miranda Vera Cruz de la Jolla Cardenal." She played more than forty different female characters (from a Puerto Rican delivery woman, to a French femme fatale, to a Bronx blind date from hell, to the show's main love interest) on the Brandon Tartikoff/PBS comedy series, The Steven Banks Show, and has guest starred on many other programs, including Night Court, L.A. Law, Cafe Americain, Friends, and Third Rock from the Sun. Feature film credits include "Shark in a Bottle" and "Simone." Most recently, she was cast as Anthony LaPaglia's suicidal mother (in flashback) on CBS's Without a Trace. A seasoned New York stage actress, critically acclaimed cabaret singer, and familiar face and voice in scores of TV and radio commercials, she is married to actor/writer/producer Mark Ritts.
