	Actors - The Committee

The Committee Theater was a San Francisco based improvisational comedy group formed in 1963. Located at 622 Broadway in San Francisco's North Beach area, the revolving group of players presented satirical political comedy at that location until 1972. Famous alumni included improv guru Del Close and Howard Hesseman who later went on to play Dr Johnny Fever on the television sitcom WKRP in Cincinatti. The Committee also hosted an early performance of The Warlocks before they became The Grateful Dead.
