The Drake and Josh Inn was the 21st episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh
. It first aired on April 2nd, 2005. The episode is the third season opener.

Plot synopsis

When Mr. and Mrs. Parker-Nichols leave for the weekend, Drake, Josh, and Megan are left home alone, and the boys are in charge. Drake spends all of the money they are given to buy food with unresponsibly, and they have to find a way to get more money. So, the boys decide to pretend that their home is a bed-and-breakfast. This works well when one couple spends the night there, but then Drake brings 75 college students to the house. Things get worse as Megan finds out, MTV sets up their cameras at the house and bradcast the party on TV, and Helen comes to try to end the party, but finds herself as part of it.

Meanwhile, the parents are in Los Angeles, flipping through the channels, when they come across MTV, and notice the studio looks familiar. They call home, and say they are coming. Drake and Josh enlist Megan's help to get the college students to leave. They come up with the idea that "monoxopuff gas", a fictional gas which makes your eyes bleed, exists in the house. They pump green dye from Megen's room through the ventilation system. Drake and Josh run down to the living room and tell the guests about the "monoxopuff" and points to the ventilation system, where the green dye was being emitted. The people leave in a panic, and Drake, Josh, and Megan get the house all cleaned up before their parents get home. Unfortunatley, after Drake, Josh, and Megen head upstairs to turn off the "monoxopuff", the police arrive and arrest the parents for hosting a televised event in their home without a license. The kids get back downstairs after the police take the parents down to the police station, and they wonder where their parents are.
