The Way You Make Me Feel was the third of singer Michael Jackson's five Billboard Hot 100 number one hit singles coming off his hit album, Bad
album, when released in 1987. The song, written and composed solely by Jackson, is about how one special woman makes the author feel inside and the fact that his "lonely days are gone". This was performed a few times on Jackson's tours and was most famously performed live at the 1988 Grammy Awards. At Michael Jackson's 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden, he performed 'The Way You Make Me Feel' with pop princess Britney Spears. The video, for the 'The Way You Make Me Feel' showcased a tough-looking Jackson chasing a young beautiful woman (model Tatiana Thumbtzen) across the street and ended with a slick choreographed number also led by Jackson.

There are 2 versions to the music video. The regular version which runs for around 5 minutes, and the full extended version which runs for 9 minutes. The 9 minute version is available on the DVD HIStory On Film - Volume 1

The song was covered in 2005 by Paul Anka on the album Rock Swings.

On March 27 "The way you make me feel" was re-released as part of the Visionary - The Video Singles package.
