Actors - Tom Cassett

Tom Cassett was a professional wrestler better known as Teijho Khan.

Career

Teijho Khan started wrestling in 1986 in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions as a member of Paul Jones' Army. He frequently teamed with The Barbarian during this time. He never spoke, he just grumbled giving the impression that he was foreign.

Khan was still raw so he was taken out of Jones' Army in 1987 and was used as a jobber. In one of his biggest and worst moments on television, he defeated another jobber and went down to interrupt the interview with Dusty Rhodes. He chose the wrong time to speak but he said to Dusty, "I want some interview time, Rhodes!". Dusty proceeded to kick his butt and put him out with the sleeper that he was using at the time.

He also appeared in the 1987 movie, Body Slam, playing Hammer the Cannibal.

He was then sent to Florida Championship Wrestling where he was a member of Oliver Humperdink's stable and then Kevin Sullivan's stable of weirdos.

In 1988, Teijho left for the American Wrestling Association. He teamed with Soldat Ustinov and manager Adnan El Kassey in an anti-American gimmick and rose to mid-card level. He actually had a match on television against AWA World Champion Jerry Lawler for the title in June 1988 but lost the match.

In 1992, he had a brief part in a movie called Equinox, where he played "I.M. Stong" and was telling people how to use a clothesline.

He toured All Japan Pro Wrestling and wrestled in the Minnesota-based Pro Wrestling America before retiring in 1994.
