| Richard Treat Williams (born December 1, 1951) is an American actor. Williams was born in Rowayton, Connecticut. He is a graduate of the Kent School in Connecticut and Franklin and Marshall College. He now lives with his wife and two children in New York. Treat Wiliams came to world attention when he starred in the 1979 Miloš Forman film, Hair (film). This film was based on the Broadway musical Hair. Since that time he has gone on to appear in over seventy-five films and several television series. Currently, he is the star of the popular television series Everwood.
