Trevor Blumas (b. October 16 1984) is a Canadian actor.

Biography

Early life

Blumas was born in in London, Ontario, Canada. He attended the Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts, where he studied music, dance, drama, and art. Blumas performed in the Original Kids Theatre Company in Ontario. He was nominated for a 1999 Young Artist Award Best Performance for the Leading Young Actor, in Stranger in Town. Blumas graduated from AB Lucas Secondary School in 2003.

Career

As a teenager, Blumas took a break from acting to join of a band called Staylefish. Trevor Blumas wrote the reggae ballad Hold On for the band. The song was a minor Indy hit. Eventually he decided to part from them, and is now working on his own solo album on the same label as his former band Calamity Entertainment.

Blumas co-starred in the Disney film Ice Princess
(2005), alongside Buffy
alumna Michelle Trachtenberg
. The film was not a financial success.

Michael Pardo

Trevor Blumas became the target of webmaster and conspiracy theory dweller Michael Pardo. Michael Pardo was convinced that Trevor Blumas and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith star Hayden Christensen
were secretly dating. Pardo backed his infomation with a fabricated black and white photo of two men, that appeared to be both Trevor and Hayden, kissing. He dedicated his site to proving that Trevor and Hayden were dating. Trevor and Hayden both claim they don't know each other and have never even met. Trevor and his ex-band Staylefish began to sue Pardo. However Pardo died before the trial could begin. The story became an article for The Globe.
