Trinny Woodall, is a fashion journalist and style guru. She became prominent in the public view as the co-host with Susannah Constantine
of the BBC style series What Not To Wear.

She was born Sarah-Jane Woodall, and nicknamed Trinny at school. She was educated at schools including Queens Gate School in South Kensington, London. She started work in the financial and marketing sectors before becoming involved in fashion.

She wrote for the Daily Telegraph from 1996, making the transition to TV later.

She and Constantine were co-founders of Ready2shop.com, a dot-com fashion advice business. It ceased trading after running out of funding in November 2000 and was dissolved in July 2001.

Trinny is married to Johnnie Elichaoff, and has a daughter, Lyla born 2003.

She is the sister of Mark Woodall, co-founder of Climate Change Capital, a merchant banking institution specialising in green energy resources. She is a trustee of the British charity The Chemical Dependency Centre.

Woodall appeared as a robot version of herself in the science fiction series Doctor Who in the episode Bad Wolf (2005), the robots Trine-e and Zu-Zana (voiced by the two presenters) were presenting a deadly futuristic version of What not to Wear.
