Victor Rebengiuc is a Romanian actor. Born in Bucharest, February 10 1933. married to Mariana Mihut Romanian actress. Graduates from I.L.Caragiale Institute in 1956. Almost all his professional life is linked with L.S. Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest , with more than 200 roles. He played in movies like Balanta , Prea tarziu, Padurea Spanzuratilor , Morometii, De ce trag clopotele Mitica, Cel mai iubit dintre pamanteni, Niki and Flo etc... The most detested role that he played, is, as he mentioned, Mihai Viteazul in the Ceausescu 'ordered film Buzduganul cu trei peceti. Between 1990 and 1996 he was director of I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Between 1996 and 1998 he was director of L.S. Bulandra Theatre. In 1988 he received for his performance in “Morometii” two international prizes for acting at the Santarem Festival in Portugal and San Remo Movie Festival in Italy.
