Actors - Victory Tour

The Victory Tour was a music tour of the United States by The Jacksons that started July 6, 1984 and ended December 9, 1984. The Victory tour included 55 concerts to about 2 million fans. It was the biggest tour any group had ever had at the time.

The Victory tour reunited all Jackson brothers, including Michael
who just released the highly-successful Thriller
two years previous to this, and Jermaine who had not recorded or toured with the Jackson's since the left Motown in 1975. Jackie was the only member not present on the tour due to a knee injury. Jackie made a full recovery and joined the Jacksons on stage during the final show in Los Angeles.

During the last show of the Victory tour, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Michael announced his split from The Jacksons during the performance of "Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)". Marlon left the group in 1987, and after recorded their last album in 1989, The Jacksons formally split in 1990.
