| Wendi Peters (born February 28 1968) is a British actress who is best known for playing the infamous Cilla Brown in the hit TV soap opera Coronation Street. In 2006, she finished runner-up to Paul Ross in a celebrity edition of the BBC's Mastermind. She also appeared in ITV's Soapstar Superstar. She was accidentally called Wendi Phillips, by Cat Deeley, on a celebrity version of the BBC show Fame Academy, when she was a guest to one of her colleagues, Debra Stephenson, who was performing. She was born in Blackburn, Lancashire and has a daughter called Gracie.
