Wendy Makkena (born 10 June 1963) is an American actress, most well known as Sister Mary Robert from the Sister Act
movies. Her mother is a well known New York astrologer.

Born is Richland Center, Wisconsin, USA, she began her acting career in 1986 appearing in the TV show Santa Barbara. She later landed her first movie role in Eight Men Out
. Throughout this time, she appeared in various guest appearances in TV shows such as Law & Order, Monsters, and NYPD Blue. It was in 1992 that she landed a starring role in the popular movie Sister Act as the shy but talented singing nun Sister Mary Robert, a role she would later play again in Sister Act 2. Playing in various other roles on TV until 1997 where she starred in Air Bud
, and then in the independent film Finding North in 1998. Since then, she has starred in various TV shows such as The Job, Oliver Beene, and Listen Up.

Wendy was married in 1997. She has a child and lives in New York.
