Actors - Wild Thing

"Wild Thing" is a hit song from 1966 by the English band The Troggs. Written by New York-born songwriter Chip Taylor, it has remained extremely popular ever since and has been covered many times — perhaps most notably by Jimi Hendrix, whose guitar-burning performance of the song was featured in the 1968 documentary
Monterey Pop
. Sam Kinison recorded a hit novelty version in 1988, and a cover by the Los Angeles-based punk band X was used in the 1989 film Major League
.

A completely different song with the same name was Tone Loc's 1989 hit "Wild Thing". Named in reference to the phrase "Doin' the wild thing", a euphemism for sex.
