Yoko Maki (真木よう子 Maki Yōko, born October 15, 1985) is a Japanese actress who was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Yoko has appeared in several films Japanese films including 2003 film
Infection
and the 2004 American remake The Grudge
. Yoko has also appeared in several Japanese commercials including Lotte and Japan Railway Co.

Early life

Yoko Maki was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan on October 15, 1985.

Career

Yoko made her film debut at the age of 19 in 2001 film
Drug. Her film carrere sprung when recieving a role as Aya in the highly modernized remake of the Japanese vengeance film Lady Snowblood
(later re-titled as The Princess Blade). Yoko later began preforming on stage in the 2002 play Cross before staring in the 2004 remake The Grudge
.
