Abe Geiger played soccer at Stanford University. He was a three-time team captain elected by his teammates. He has demonstrated poise under pressure and unmatched leadership that has allowed him to lead the Cardinal along with younger teammates. Was one of the top players in the conference while on the team.

Career: Has scored five points as a defender and midfielder in 67 games and 47 starts during his first three seasons.

As a Junior in 2002, he anchored the nationa's fourth-ranked defense. He started all 25 games and was named Second Team Pac-10 All-Academic.

As a Sophomore in 2001, Abe was named Second Team All-Pac-10 and Pac-10 All-Academic. Started all 22 games; tallied three assists. Helped anchor a defense that allowed only 13 goals all season.

Abe is a 1999 graduate of East Lansing High School; a four-year starter and two-time team captain. He was a three-time member of the All-State Michigan team. Selected a Parade Magazine High School All-American. Led his prep team to four Capital Area Conference Champtionships. Four-year member of the Region II ODP Team; selected for the Under-20, Under-18 and Under-16 National Team, served as a captain for the Under-18 squad. Led his club team, Vardar III, to six Michigan State Cup championships and was a five-time captain. Named MVP at the 1995 and 1997 State Cup Tournaments.
