| Alex Bassi is a race car driver born in the Paris, France on the 7 February 1972, but competes under the American Flag. He competed in 125cc Shifter go kart races in California between 1991 and 1995. Then move to the Skip Barber Formula Dodge Series in 96, and competed there on and off successfully for 4 seasons. Later he raced in SCCA Endurance Racing, winning his class in the 2001 24 Hours of Moroso in a Porsche 944. He also won his class in the 12 Hours of Summit Point in 2003, after testing a MINI Cooper'S at the Nordschleife of the Nurburgring. In 2004, he competed in Central American GT Series in Guatemala. In 2005, he competed in the 25-Hours of Thunderhill.
