| Andre Ward (born February 23, 1984) is an American boxer, who competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the Gold Medal. He was the only boxer from his olympic class to win Gold. He has since begun a professional career where he competes in the middleweight division, 160 pound limit. He is known for his ability to fight from both orthodox and southpaw stances, as well as his speed and technical mastery.
