Angelo Poffo (born 1925) is a former professional wrestler and wrestling promoter. He ran the ICW, International Championship Wrestling for a number of years, holding cards in Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas. He is most noted for being the father of Randy "Macho Man" Savage and "Leaping" Lanny Poffo. He also held the world sit up record for several years, his total being 6033 in one sitting.CareerPoffo started wrestling in 1948. He sometimes wrestled as The Miser.He formed a heel tag team with Chris Markoff called "The Devil's Duo" and "The Graduates."
