| Anthony McFarland (born December 18, 1977 in Winnsboro, Louisiana) is an American football defensive tackle for the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McFarland is often called by his nickname, Booger. He attended Louisiana State University. Since McFarland has entered the league, Tampa Bay's defense has been ranked in the Top 10 in the NFL in total defense. McFarland was drafted in the first-round (15th overall) by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1999 NFL Draft. So far, McFarland has had 251 career tackles, with 18 quarterback sacks, and has played in 78 career games with 64 starts.
