| Armando N. Almanza (born October 26, 1972) is a left-handed relief pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was born in El Paso, Texas. He has also played for the Florida Marlins and the Atlanta Braves in his career. He is a hard-thrower, with a fastball in the mid-90's and a big, slow curveball, but has had issues with his control his entire career.
