| B.J. Sander (born July 29, 1980) is a punter for the Green Bay Packers. Despite starting just one year at Ohio State University, he won the Ray Guy Award for the best punter in the nation. He was selected in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Packers, much to the chagrin of their fans. The anger was accelerated when Sander had a poor preseason, and did not punt at all his rookie season, becoming the butt of many jokes by the fans. Since then, Sander has mostly redeemed himself after an excellent year in NFL Europe and eliminating his competition for the starting job midway through training camp.
