| Babe McCarthy (died March, 1975), often known as "Ol' Magnolia Mouth", is a former basketball coach in the American Basketball Association. From 1967 through 1972 he coached the New Orleans Buccaneers/Memphis Tams. In 1972, he coached the Dallas Chaparrals for a season. And in the 1973-74 season, he coached the Kentucky Colonels.
