Barry Buchanan (born January 15, 1968 in Eddyville, Kentucky) is an American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances as Bull Buchanan in the World Wrestling Federation and World Wrestling Entertainment.CareerThe first major wrestling organization that Buchanan competed for was the United States Wrestling Association (USWA), where he was known as Recon of the Truth Commission. With his partner The Interrogator, Buchanan won the USWA Tag Team Championships. The entire Truth Commission faction was brought in to the World Wrestling Federation in 1997 but did not remain in the company for long. Buchanan remained under WWF contract, however, and was sent to their "developmental territory" Ohio Valley Wrestling to improve his skills. While there, Buchanan and partner Mr. Black captured the OVW Southern Tag Team Championships.Buchanan returned to the WWF in 2000, now under the name Bull Buchanan and acting as a tag team partner for the Big Boss Man. Buchanan briefly struck out on his own after that alliance ended, but it was not long before he joined the Right to Censor faction, lead by Steven Richards. As part of this group, Buchanan won the WWF World Tag Team Championships with The Goodfather. After Right to Censor was disbanded in mid-2001, Buchanan was once again sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling. In 2002 he returned to the WWF (now WWE); after wrestling several matches with seemingly no character or purpose, Buchanan was teamed with John Cena as an enforcer character and began using the name B-2 (also written as B², pronounced "B-Squared"). This pairing did not last long. As Cena's popularity rose, Buchanan was released by the company in January 2003. Since that time, Buchanan has been wrestling for All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he is known simply as Buchanan teaming with Taka Michinoku, Jamal, D'Lo Brown, and Taiyo Kea in the Roughly Obsess & Destroy stable.
