Ben Finegold (born September 6 1969 in Detroit, Michigan) is a chess International Master.

Finegold was born into a chess family and became a USCF Master at the age of 14. He became a Life Master at 15, Senior Master at 16, and International Master at 20.

In August of 2005 Finegold completed his third and final required norm for promotion to International Grandmaster. He should be awarded the title no later than the next Congress of FIDE. UPDATE: This norm was not awarded because the organizer switched the reported order of the rounds erroneously.
