| William Alexander Lange (June 6, 1871 in San Francisco, California - July 23, 1950 in San Francisco), nicknamed "Little Eva", was an outfielder in Major League Baseball for the Chicago Colts & Orphans from 1893-1899. Lange retired at the height of his fame to get married. Lange is often confused with Frank Lange, a marginal player with the White Sox in the early 1910's.
