3-time Eclipse Award winner as outstanding trainer (1997-99); trained 3 Kentucky Derby winners (1997,98,02), 4 Preakness Stakes winners (1997,98,01,02), 1 Belmont Stakes winner (2001) and 1 Kentucky Oaks winner (1999); 4-time leading annual money leader for trainers (1998-01).

Baffert is also a native of the small city of Nogales, Arizona.
