Robert Craig (Bob) McClure (born April 29, 1952 in Oakland, California) is the pitching coach of the Kansas City Royals, and was previously a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball. From 1975 through 1993, McClure played for the Kansas City Royals (1975-76), Milwaukee Brewers (1977-86), Montreal Expos (1986-88), California Angels (1989-91), St. Louis Cardinals (1992) and Florida Marlins (1993). He batted right handed and threw left handed. McClure was the Kansas City Royals third-round pick in 1973 and reached the majors in 1975. He pitched two seasons as a reliever for the Royals before going to the Milwaukee Brewers to complete a five-player deal that brought catcher Darrell Porter and starter Jim Colborn to Kansas City.

With the Brewers, McClure led his team in saves in 1978 and 1980, then spent almost all of 1981 on the disabled list with arm problems. In 1982 he was moved to the starting rotation and had a 12-7 mark for the American League champion Brewers, but he returned to the bullpen after incumbent closer Rollie Fingers was unavailable for the postseason. In the 1982 World Series against the Cardinals, McClure made five appearances, saving Games Four and Five, but he also had two losses, including a blown save in the decisive Game Seven.

McClure came back to the Brewers starting rotation in 1983 and 1984, before returning to relief duties in 1985. In the 1986 midseason he was traded to the Montreal Expos. After that, he pitched with the Mets, Angels and Cardinals, and finished his major league career with the Marlins in 1993.

In a 19-season career, McClure posted a 68-57 record with a 3.81 ERA and 52 saves in 698 games pitched, 73 as a starter.

Following his playing career, McClure worked as a pitching coach for the Colorado Rockies organization from 1999 through 2005, including four seasons at Triple-A Colorado Springs. Before the 2006 season, he returned with the Royals after a 29-year absence as their new pitching coach.
