| Carl August Braun (born September 25, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former professional basketball player and coach. One of the premier guards of the 1950s, Braun spent 13 seaons in the NBA, all but the last with the New York Knicks. He ended his career in 1962, after one season with the Boston Celtics.
