William Casey Blake (born August 23 1973 in Des Moines, Iowa) currently plays right field for the Cleveland Indians. Before he came to the Indians in 2003, he never had more than 40 at bats in a season, playing with 3 different teams: the Toronto Blue Jays, Minnesota Twins, and the Baltimore Orioles. He attended Wichita State, bats and throws right-handed, and has a career major league batting average of .261 as of the beginning of the 2005 season.

He was a four-sport standout at Indianola High School in Indianola, Iowa, a Des Moines suburb. When he joined Cleveland's major league team in 2003, it marked the second time that Blake appeared with a club known as the "Indians," as his high school's teams shared the same nickname.

Blake began his major-league career as a third baseman and played this position for the Indians in 2003 and 2004. When the Indians signed Aaron Boone to play third base in 2005, Blake moved to his current position in right field.
