| Chanda Rubin (born February 18, 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana) a professional tennis player from the United States, who advanced to the semifinal of the Australian Open 1996. Rubin has paved the way for African American Tennis Players around the world, and although plagued by injury, performed consistently well in all major Grand Slam Tournaments. She also reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros. Rubin has a career high ranking of No.6.
