Charles Jewtraw (born 5 May 1900 in Clinton County, New York – died 26 January 1996 in Palm Beach, Florida) was an American speed skater.

Charles Jewtraw grew up near Lake Placid, New York and became the first gold medalist of the 1924 Winter Olympics by winning the opening event of those Olympic Games, the 500 m speed skating, in the French town of Chamonix. He retired as a speed skater after those Olympic Games and became a representative for the Spalding Sporting Goods Company.
