Charles Timothy O'Leary (October 15, 1882 – January 6, 1941) was a Major League Baseball shortstop primarily with the Detroit Tigers. He played nine seasons with the Tigers and one season with the St. Louis Cardinals. Not known for his hitting, O'Leary had a career batting average of .226. With the Tigers, he was the team's starting shortstop for two of its three World Series appearances. Pinch hitting for the St. Louis Browns over twenty years after he had retired, Charley O'Leary, at nearly 52 years old, became one of the oldest Major League Baseball players to successfully hit and score a run.
