| Chin-hui Tsao (Traditional Chinese: 曹錦輝; pinyin: Cáo Jǐnhūi) (born June 2, 1981, in Hualien, Taiwan) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies. He is the second major league player of Taiwanese origin, and like the first, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Chin-Feng Chen, he is a part Taiwanese aborigine (Ami). Tsao was highly regarded as a prospect while in the Colorado minor league system, but after he made his MLB debut in late 2003, he has been frequently injured. He missed nearly all of the 2004 and 2005 seasons, and his future, in light of these injuries, may be in doubt. Tsao's name is one of the MLB players' names most frequently mispronounced by the media, often as "sow".
