Athletes - Chris Ault


Chris Ault (born November 8, 1946), is the current college football coach of the University of Nevada, Reno Wolf Pack. He is currently the only active coach who is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.

Ault's career coaching record is 175-73-1, which is currently the fourth-highest winning percentage (.705) among active Division I-A coaches and the winningest coach in Wolf Pack history. He engineered the greatest comeback in NCAA history, when he erased a 35 point defecit to defeat Weber State in 1991. He is very good at making halftime adjustments as he has engineered 25 second-half comeback victories.

Ault graduated from Nevada with a bachelor's degree in Education in 1968 and went on to complete an MBA in 1971. He is married to Kathy Ault, and has three children: Lisa, Chris Jr., and Amy.
