| Chris Capuano (born August 19, 1978 in Springfield, Massachusetts) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers. He has also pitched for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Capuano pitched for Duke University and Cathedral High School in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was the valedictorian of his high school graduating class. He is one of a minority of Major League Baseball players with college degrees, earning an Economics degree at Duke. His 2005 season with the Brewers proved to be a break-out year as he posted 18 wins, the highest total for a Brewer since 1987 (Ted Higeura).
