Christopher J. Chambers (born August 12, 1978 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American football wide receiver currently playing for the Miami Dolphins.

High school

Chambers attended Bedford High School in Bedford, Ohio. While there, he was a three-sport letterman in football, basketball, and track. In football, he won All-America accolades and was a two-time All-State selection. In basketball, he was a third-team All-State performer as a senior. In track, he won the state championship in the 400 meter dash as a senior with a time of 47.1 seconds.

College

Chambers was recruited by the University of Wisconsin Badgers where he had a stellar career with them. He played in 43 games in his career and started on 33 of them and finished his Badger career with 127 receptions for 2,004 yards and 10 touchdowns. He currently ranks second on the school's all-time list for receptions and yardage, trailing only former New York Jets star Al Toon
.

Despite missing 3 games as a senior because of a stress fracture in his right foot, Chambers placed together the most productive season of his college career with 52 receptions for 813 yards and five touchdowns and was a second-team All-Big 10 Conference choice that year. Concerns with injuries dropped Chambers stock in the 2001 NFL Draft and was drafted by the Dolphins in the second round.

NFL

On Sunday December 4, 2005, in a game between the Bills and Dolphins. Chambers set franchise records for receptions (15) and receiving yards (238) as well as scoring the game winning touchdown in the final seconds. For this performance, Chambers was named AFC offensive player of the week. He was elected to his first Pro Bowl on December 22, 2005.
