| Chris Cooper (born December 27, 1977 in Lincoln, Nebraska) is a player in the NFL. He is currently a free agent, who was released by the San Francisco 49ers]]. He plays the nose tackle position. He went to the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 6th round (184th overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2004. The 49ers signed him in the 2004 offseason.
