Claus Elming is a former Danish football player.

Claus first experienced American football when he went to Minnesota on exchange. Soon the fanatic, Claus sent his little brother, Jesper Elming, a NFL ball for Christmas.

When Claus returned to Denmark after a year in the U.S., Claus started the club "Herning Hawks" with a couple of other guys. Some years later Claus moved to Århus to study at the university, where he then helped starting up "Århus Tigers". Claus moved to Copenhagen, after he got signed to TV2 to comment NFL on Zulu. Claus then started coaching Avedøre Monarchs. He stopped in 2002.

Every Sunday at 10pm on TV2 Zulu, you can see Claus and his co-host Jimmy Bøjgaard comment on the late game. Claus little brother, Jesper Elming, and his co-host Thomas Qvortrup comments the early match.
