| Cliff Richey played amateur and professional tennis in the 1960s and 1970s. Born December 31, 1946, in San Angelo, Texas, Richey was ranked as high as No. 16 in the world in singles on the ATP Rankings (achieving that ranking on September 13, 1973). He won ten singles titles during his Open Era career, including titles at Cincinnati and Canada.
