| Cornelius Griffin was selected in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
Signed by the Washington Redskins as an unrestricted free agent on March 3, 2004 Griffin joined the Redskins during the 2004 offseason after four seasons with NFC East-rival New York Giants. He had his best season as a pro in 2004, recording 96 tackles (66 solo) and six sacks. He has compiled 22.5 sacks with 352 tackles (249 solo) at either left or right tackle during his career.
