| Curtis Granderson (born March 16, 1981, in Blue Island, Illinois) is a Major League Baseball right fielder who currently plays for the Detroit Tigers and has a career batting average of .267. After attending the University of Illinois at Chicago, Curtis Granderson was drafted by the Tigers in the third round of the 2002 draft. He is now the starting centerfielder for the upcoming 2006 season.
