| D'Brickashaw "Big Country" Ferguson (born December 10, 1983 in Freeport, New York) is an American football offensive tackle for the University of Virginia Cavaliers football team. He is currently a senior and is projected to go in the top ten in the 2006 NFL Draft. He has excellent athleticism and is like a "big dancing teddy bear." He stands at 6 ft 6 in and weighs 312 lb. He put on 17 lb. between the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine. Ferguson is said to be named after Father Ralph de Bricassart, a fictional character on the 1983 mini-series The Thorn Birds, played by Richard Chamberlain.
