| Daniel John ("Danny") Haren (born September 17, 1980 in Monterey Park, California) is a baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Oakland Athletics. He went to Pepperdine University and made his major league debut on June 23, 2003 with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals traded him to the Athletics before the 2005 season along with fellow pitcher Kiko Calero and catcher Daric Barton in exchange for Mark Mulder.
