| Darryl Rogers (born May 28, 1935) was an American football coach. He was hired by the Detroit Lions in 1985 as head coach. He went 7-9 in '85, 5-11 in '86, 4-11 in '87, and 2-9 in 1989, for a career record with the Lions of 18-40. He was succeeded by Wayne Fontes. Rogers previously coached at Fresno State, Arizona State, San Jose State, and Michigan State. He compiled a lifetime record of 129-84-7.
