| David Luther Foutz (September 7, 1856 - March 5, 1897) was a pitcher for the St. Louis Browns of the American Association and the Brooklyn Bridegrooms of the National League from 1884 to 1894, compiling a 147-66 career record. He also played first base and the outfield. From 1893 to 1896, he was the player-manager of the Bridegrooms. Foutz died on March 5, 1897 in his mother's house in Waverly, Maryland of asthma.
