| Demetrius Hopkins (born October 10, 1980, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) is an American boxer, currently in the light welterweight division. He is the nephew of former undisputed middleweight champ and future boxing hall of famer Bernard Hopkins. He is the current USBA lightwelterweight champion after dispatching Mario Jose Ramos by a lopsided unanimous decision. His current record is 23-0-1 and looks to become a top ten light welterweight contender by the end of this year.
